The article focuses on a qualitative interpretation of the role of robotics plots in science fiction and in "drawn literature". The symbolic richness of such item deserves a special and intercultural hermeneutic. Specific attention is devoted to the Japanese Imaginary, underscoring that drawn literature in Japanes society is an elective form of much more than 'mere' science fiction and its robotic plots.
