In this contribution, the author aims to develop a philosophical account of 'posthuman' that allowsus to conceive a future society of humanoids, human, hybrids, artificial beings, who are free and equal, at least in principle. This expression, 'posthuman' or posthuman condition is to be understood as referring to symbols and phenomena different fro those associated with 'transhuman'.
