This work retraces the legislative evolution of the civilian service. The civilian service was first introduced fifty years ago by law no. 772 of 1972 as an alternative to military service available for those who declared themselves conscientious objectors. Since that date, numerous legislative and even judicial interventions have profoundly changed the structure of the civilian service, so much so that they have increasingly loosened its connection with the ideals underlying conscientious objection and have transformed it into a sort of internship for the youth.

Abstract
This work retraces the legislative evolution of the civilian service. The civilian service was first introduced fifty years ago by law no. 772 of 1972 as an alternative to military service available for those who declared themselves conscientious objectors. Since that date, numerous legislative and even judicial interventions have profoundly changed the structure of the civilian service, so much so that they have increasingly loosened its connection with the ideals underlying conscientious objection and have transformed it into a sort of internship for the youth.File in questo prodotto:
